Fellowship Application Form

In 2013, the Peggy Browning Fund plans to support between nearly 70 funded Summer Fellowships in labor-related organizations throughout the United States. In 2013-2014, we will support one part-time funded School-Year Fellowship (at the Chicago Newspaper Guild).

Summer Fellowship stipends are a minimum of $5,000 per student for a ten-week employment period. In many cases Mentor Organizations will supplement the stipend. See each individual fellowship description for details. For the part-time 2013-2014 School-Year Fellowship, the total stipend will be $5,000 (based on 15 hours/week, 11 weeks/semester).

At this time, we are accepting applications only for the following two mentor organizations:

1. APSCUF (Association of Pennsylvania State Colleges and University Faculties), in Harrisburg, PA

2. IUE-CWA (the Industrial Division of the Communications Workers of America), in Dayton, OH

Students who already applied for our 2013 fellowships are still eligible to apply for these additional fellowships, even if they submitted the previous limit of five applications.

We have notified students selected for all of our other fellowships.  We will announce the awards for the two positions above as soon as possible.

If you have any questions please contact Mary Anne Moffa at 267-273-7992 or mmoffa@peggybrowningfund.org.
