Summer 2000

We are happy to report that selections for the Summer 2000 internships have now been completed. An end of the summer workshop was held with the PBF interns and funded organizations. Students reported that their summer projects varied from traditional legal work (brief writing and research) to providing direct organzational and legal support work with clients, such as hotel and farm workers. Funded organizations were able to exchange ideas and strategies for dealing with current worker rights issues. Overall, the student and funded organization's final evaluation reports spoke positively about the student's summer work experience.
