Arnold, Newbold, Sollars & Hollins, P.C.
Kansas City, MO
This is the 2023 fellowship description for this mentor organization.
We are a boutique firm specializing in employee benefits and labor law. We work closely with labor organizations in the Midwest to ensure wages and benefits are fairly paid. The firm was founded in 1979 to represent labor organizations and affiliated employee benefit plans.
Fellows will be working closely with firm partners and associates on research projects, including writing memos, briefs, positions statements and letters. We will encourage fellows to attend depositions, arbitrations, mediations, hearings and client meetings (if possible). Course work in ERISA and/or labor law is encouraged but not required.
In office preferred. The stipend for the 10-week fellowship is $7,000.
Firm partners monitor summer clerks, with assistance from firm associates.
