Hayes, Ortega & Sánchez, a California union-side labor and employment law firm with offices in San Diego and Los Angeles Counties, is hiring and seeking applications from attorneys with 3-5 years of experience in litigation and/or arbitration to work in our San Diego office. Our firm represents private sector labor unions, public sector employee associations, and their members.

Our practice includes litigation (federal, state, and appellate), arbitration, administrative hearings, labor contract negotiations, and providing advice and guidance to labor unions. The attorneys and staff at the firm are friendly and supportive, the atmosphere is collegial, and the issues are both challenging and interesting. Compensation and benefits are competitive. Benefits include fully paid healthcare premiums, life insurance, long-term disability, sick leave, vacation, and contributions to the ABA 401k plan after one year.

Candidates should have excellent communication, research, advocacy and writing skills, as well as a commitment to the labor movement and workers’ rights.
