Who We Are
We are a union side labor and ERISA law firm with a strong reputation for excellence for the past 25 years. Our success is tied to our focus -- which is on providing our institutional clients with the highest quality representation in our major practice areas.

We act as Funds Counsel to a number of Taft Hartley health, retirement and training funds. Our attorneys help our institutional clients navigate through the challenges encountered by ERISA covered entities and develop professionally through these partnerships.

We also represent benefit funds and unions in a variety of litigation contexts. These include pursuing statutory and contractual claims against defaulting employers, defending welfare funds against provider claims, litigating withdrawal liability issues as well as complex ERISA matters involving competing funds. Virtually all of our litigation matters are venued in federal court.

The interplay between our fund counsel and court room roles contributes greatly to our effectiveness. The result is a law firm environment that is sophisticated, professional, and educational.

Job Highlights

We are seeking an associate with 7+ years ERISA experience.
Additionally, the candidate must:

• have strong research and writing skills;
• be a team player;
• be admitted in New York; and
• a positive and energetic attitude.

We are also seeing an experienced federal litigator. Candidate must have:

• 8+ years’ substantive federal litigation experience;
• proficiency in taking depositions and trial practice;
• exemplary research and writing skills; and
• admission New York.

Timeline

As we recently expanded our institutional client base, we are looking for attorneys available in the near-term future.
