The Honolulu, Hawaii office of Weinberg, Roger & Rosenfeld (“WRR”), a union-side labor law and employee benefits law firm with offices in Honolulu, Los Angeles, Sacramento and the San Francisco Bay Area, seeks an Associate to work on traditional labor, ERISA and litigation matters.

WRR is well-known for its zealous advocacy on behalf of unions, employee benefit trust funds and working people. Applicants should have three (3) to eight (8) years of experience, must be detail-oriented, organized, and possess exemplary research, writing and analytical skills. Duties include all stages of litigation, including preparing demands, negotiation, writing briefs, drafting motions, engaging in discovery, document collection & review, preparing for trial, union representation at arbitration, and advocating at NLRB proceedings. This position offers opportunities for significant case-handling responsibilities and direct client interaction, as well as a competitive salary and excellent benefits. Admission to the Hawaii bar is preferred. Competence in U.S. District Court, District of Hawaii’s CM/ECF e-filing system and the State of Hawaii, JEFS Electronic Filing system, Taft-Hartley trust fund experience and admission to the Nevada bar are a plus.
