Pitta LLP

New York, NY

This is the 2024 fellowship posting for this mentor organization.

Pitta LLP represents private sector and public sector labor unions and benefit funds in all areas of labor, benefits and employment law.  Our attorneys represent clients in federal and state courts, before administrative agencies, including the National Labor Relations Board and the New York State Public Employment Relations Board, and in arbitration hearings and mediation.  Pitta LLP is an equal opportunity employer.  We strive for a friendly, supportive and collegial work environment.

A law clerk in our firm will participate with the firm’s partners and associates in many aspects of our labor, employee benefits and employment work.  Law clerks assist in legal research, discovery, and writing projects in litigated cases, arbitrations and administrative cases, and to the extent feasible will be able to observe and assist in arbitrations and conferences.  We seek to expose the law clerk to different areas of practice and a variety of projects.

We prefer local candidates only (NYC Metro area).

Our regular work week is 40 hours with an unpaid hour each day for lunch. Law school students are paid $25 per hour. If for any reason the student worked more or less than 35 hours in a week, his or her salary would be adjusted accordingly.
