The firm represents Taft-Hartley multiemployer benefit funds on all aspects of law, including mergers, plan design, regulatory compliance, operations, financial and legal issues relating to plan investment, and litigation matters. The funds we represent provide a wide variety of benefits in varied industries, including entertainment, media, construction and health.
Kraw Law Group is a long-time supporter of the Peggy Browing Foundation and is eager for the opportunity to work with a fellow As a Peggy Browning Fellow, you can expect to work alongside attorneys advising employee benefit plans on ERISA regulatory compliance, administrative and fiduciary matters, withdrawal liability litigation matters, and other issues. In addition, you will have the opportunity to assist in active litigation matters.
You will be assigned a variety of projects, including legal research and writing projects addressing various regulatory compliance issues, and assisting litigation counsel with legal research, drafting motions and other pleadings, discovery, trial preparation and the opportunity to attend hearings in federal court.
Applicants should have strong research, writing and analytical skills as well as a commitment to workers’ rights and the labor movement. The Fellow will be based out of our Silicon Valley Office in Mountain View.
Kraw Law Group will pay the fellow $10,000 for the 10-week period.
