McKnight, Canzano, Smith, Radtke & Brault, P.C. is an established law firm that has represented workers, classes of workers, unions, and employee benefit funds for nearly fifty years. We are looking for a mission-dedicated, motivated, hard-working summer law clerk with a demonstrated commitment to working people.
Our summer law clerk will perform legal work related to private and public sector labor law and employment discrimination litigation. The law clerkâs assignments will include researching legal issues, preparing legal memoranda, drafting pleadings, and attending legal proceedings. Additionally, our law clerk will meet with workers and clients in a variety of different settings. Our office is located in metro-Detroit. Some hybrid work options are available.
Applicants with the following qualifications are preferred: (1) legal research and writing skills, and (2) attention to detail.

The AFL-CIO will provide a total stipend for the ten-week fellowship of $8,000.
