Fighting For The Rights of TSA Workers

Over the summer, Wayne and I interned at American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE).  There, we were mainly responsible for appealing removals of Transportation Security Administration (TSA) employees due to adverse actions before the Office of Professional Responsibility Appellate Board (OPRAB).  We were responsible for gathering the facts and making the best possible arguments as to why their removal should be overturned or mitigated.  Fighting for TSA employees is often a difficult task because of the stringent rules and policies that make it nearly impossible for a TSA employee to get reinstated.  Nonetheless, we put forth our best efforts fighting for workers’ rights!
