About JAW

Justice at Work (JaW) is a nonprofit legal aid provider that is part of the Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network. Our mission is to support low-wage workers as they pursue economic and social justice. We advance our mission through legal services (focusing on immigration and employment law), community education and outreach, and client-centered advocacy. We seek to address clients’ challenges based on the unique circumstances of each individual, guided by their perspectives and goals; we recognize that justice is a process; and we believe that the experience we create with our clients as we guide them through the legal process is as important as the ultimate legal outcomes we seek to bring about. We have offices in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia and provide services throughout Pennsylvania. Many of our clients are Spanish-speaking; reside in small cities, towns and agricultural and/or migrant communities across the state; and may otherwise not have access to legal services.
