2012 Philadelphia Reception Delivered!

On March 7th, union leaders and members, union-side attorneys and their firms, members of the Philadelphia labor community and friends and associates came together to recognize social justice champions Henry Nicholas, President, 1199C National Union of Hospital and Healthcare Employees and Ed Mooney, International Vice President of CWA District 2-13.

Held at Sheet Metal Workers Local 19, over 180 guests enjoyed a buffet dinner and had the opportunity to meet a number of this year's Peggy Browning Fellows and several alumni.  Andrew Kelser, PBFellow 2011, spoke about his summer fellowship experience and last year's national conference.

Joe Lurie, PBF President and Founder, kicked off the evening's program sharing the early days and Peggy's background.  Dennis Walsh, Esq., PBF Board Chair introduced each awardees introducer and presented each citation and award.  Former Peggy Browning Awardees in attendance and Board members were recognized as well.
