Summer Law Clerk

Communications Workers of America
Texas

CWA is hiring a summer law clerk. This is a paid position.

CWA is an international labor union representing workers across various industries, including telecommunications, airlines, news media, manufacturing, and public service. CWA fights for the rights of workers to have control over their workplaces and their lives. CWA’s Austin headquarters oversee the union’s operations in Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas, and Arkansas.

This is a rare opportunity to get in-person work experience with a labor union in Texas and will give you experience working with a variety of issues in labor law. You will work with CWA’s District Counsel and may have the opportunity to work with CWA’s organizing staff and Local Union support staff.

The position will include research and writing as well as assistance in all parts of the grievance and arbitration process. We prioritize a candidate who has a passion for workers’ rights.

Must be available to work in one of our Austin, Dallas, St. Louis, or Houston offices.

Apply to this position.
